Re: After scanning Xbox One Forums......

I feel like you didn't read anything I said before this one time, because before now you've just made up things as you went and assumed.

STOP harping about highly rare errors as if they're sales breaking and ruin the whole console. YOUR XBOX ONE IS TANKING FASTER THAN THE TITANIC, don't pretend they'll "patch it up" before it goes down. If they do, awesome, if they don't (Microsoft has a habit of screwing up important decisions), sorry bro.

The guy above me (jamesbond99) is correct, my system already has the heads up, and it'll stay ahead. Sales.mean.everything in the business world. The success and propriety of one of these consoles lives and dies by the numbers. The One's numbers, even AFTER Titanfall dropped, still haven't turned things around. Actually, the sales on the 360 are FAR better, but those can't turn it around for the One so they're considered wasted numbers in the console wars.. which is why Respawn won't release "exclusive" ever again, they're paying the biggest price for this very poorly executed decision.. then again, it was their choice to try and help Microsoft out a bit, which I don't blame them for. Did it pay off? Eh, it narrowed the gap, but only marginally.

As far as the lacking exclusives, exactly what james said below - BOTH consoles have between eh-okay exclusives and garbage ones, nothing has been highly notable except for Titanfall, which is doing better on the 360 anyway (but we all knew it would), so that side of your argument is null-and-void regardless how hard you're trying to make it viable lol can't find anything else to support your case? Yeah, that's why I haven't gone around the forums harping up the PS4, because this time around both consoles are far too close in technical specs (PS4 has slightly better hardware, but that's marginal) and both consoles have basically the same things to offer. The only difference between them I've noticed so far is that a couple of the PS4 versions of the games hold their framerate, while the One's dips a lot (especially on it's exclusives).. but that's why Microsoft is working on releasing DirectX 12 for the One so soon, which will help greatly and open up 1080 as "native" for you. So there, Microsoft did something good... bit late, considering it should have been done that way during development phases, but proper specifications wasn't something they were concerned about back then. They wanted us to know that the One would be our multi-media entertainment station. They were too busy harping it up, like you. They counted their eggs before they hatched, and then released it more expensive (forcing the Kinect, which everyone I know with a One says is complete garbage just like the first Kinect) console that scored weak exclusives (at least the PS4 had a few well established IP's among them) that amounted to nothing so far... and nothing more.

The One would have done as good or better than the PS4 in sales if they'd have released globally the same as Sony, but their calculated mistake has given Sony the opportunity to lap Microsoft several times in this race so far. I don't doubt MS will catch back up, but it's literally looking like the 360 and PS3 in reverse lol PS3 comes out later so has a lot of ground to make up for, and it takes several years to do it. The One is in those shoes now, they've got a long way to go to catch up, but I will say if they continue to score "solid" exclusives like TItanfall (with the exception of Titanfall since its sequel won't be exclusive they've already stated it wouldn't be) over the next year or so, they'll actually be in the race finally. The One is a solid console, it's just a poorly marketed one (numbers support that comment). If they can catch back up, it'll be real competition between MS and Sony.. as of this moment, Sony is like Nintendo.. they're in competition with no one and have a bit of breathing room. For now.
