I have to say they need to try and do something to reduce the amount of passive camping in the game as it is ruining the essence of COD and it is not a legitimate way of playing the game finding the nearest corner, building or alcove on the outskirts of the map waiting for someone to walk past.
What I don't want to see is someone who is camping a high traffic area or objectives punished in any sort of way so finding a system to not punish these types whilst punishing those passive campers can't be easy, the best ways I have heard to reduce camping is:
- To remove a overall K/D stat.
- Adding in a active meter that has a set timer that if it reaches 0 then you lose 1 point off your pointstreak and then the timer resets again and if it goes down to 0 again you lose another point, almost like cranked in ghosts but a bit more in depth where killing, assists & completing objectives give you more time but even moving or being near an objective will stop the countdown on the timer from decreasing so for most it will not even remotely affect their game one little bit.
- Better map design.
- Remove or reduce the amount of equipment that are camper friendly like I.E.Ds.
