Simple fact is people are always going to get smarter and smarter, therefore finding out ways to work around competition. Campers will always be present big or small maps. Most people probably prefer smaller maps for the close 2 midrange competitive side of COD. I like smaller maps as well but that's why with newer maps (DLC), there's a better mix of smaller maps which they made to decrease probabilities of the oversized ones. Atleast it's better than half big n half small. The game isn't bad, it's the way the bigger maps promote some of the perks, weapons, and strike packages to encourage camping. That's my honest view.
